Behind the therapist
I believe in being adaptive and responsive to my clients’ unique needs. Every individual requires different forms of support, whether it’s space to process, validation, or self-discovery. My goal is to adjust to these needs during our sessions, ensuring you feel understood and supported.
Self-empowerment is key to my approach. I empower my clients by providing psycho-education, equipping them with knowledge and tools to navigate their mental health journey. I stay updated with the latest research and methodologies, ensuring that you receive the most relevant and effective support.

Supervised by Paige Swanson
Hi, it’s nice to meet you. I am Alex Lippas. If you are exploring change, seeking self-acceptance, or healing from trauma, I am here to walk beside you. I value a warm, collaborative approach to create a safe space where you can navigate healing and self-discovery.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and challenges surrounding identity. I understand how difficult it can be to navigate a world that often feels unsure. I believe that healing begins with the relationship you have with yourself. Through movement and self-exploration, we can work together to find your own meaning, cultivate clarity, compassion, and understanding in how you relate to others and yourself.

Alma Mater and dual degrees
Currently, I am completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Amberton University.

Treatment Modalities and Training
My clinical focus includes LGBT issues and complex trauma, drawing from evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I believe that movement helps heal and strengthen the mind-body connection. I also integrate somatic techniques to support my clients further. Ultimately, you are the expert on your own life. It would be my honor to walk alongside you as we uncover patterns that no longer serve you, allowing you to move forward with greater self-understanding. I am under the supervision of Paige Swanson. When I am not in session, you can usually find me on the water, rowing with my crew team.
